ABOUT
Taryn is a speech language pathologist who recognized a gap in the system for care of those who have suffered TBI. She blended her knowledge from her SLP education with her passion to help those who have suffered TBI (along with multiple certifications) to better serve this population!
Why She Joined Unconventional Collaborative
One of the major reasons I joined was because I do not subscribe to the belief that any medical challenge lives in a bubble or in one organ of the body. I know what I know and I know what I don't know and it is my belief that the best medical providers can utter those two phrases while also truly being passionate to learn from others in a collaborative medical care model. I also knew that the collaborative would offer this in a curious, open, supportive way that makes every provider better and is never comparative, judgmental or a one up each other medical knowledge competition. The providers are in it for all the right reasons...the patients come first!
